Can a person be changed? No... UNLESS she or he really, really wants it! And if you feel that you are ready for a change, welcome to my page!

Let me introduce myself briefly: I am a psychologist, lecturer/teacher, hypnotherapist. I consult both teenagers and adults. I completed my bachelor's degree in psychology (VDU) and master's degree in clinical psychology (at ISEP Institute in Spain) and hypnotherapy studies in Germany. I also have life experience - I'm already 49. :-) I spent 14 years in Peru, Arabia, Nepal, Switzerland, Germany and Spain. At the age of 33, I returned to Lithuania and dived into the book publishing business, and since the age of 41 I have been studying, training and consulting in the field of psychology. In my practice, I rely on KET (cognitive behavioral therapy) and other methods that I learned during my bachelor's and master's studies in Lithuania and Spain (see "Methods" section).

I consult in Lithuanian, English, German and Spanish.

I call the meetings with my clients counseling, not therapy, because it is not a therapy. The main difference is in the duration, the communication style and the techniques I suggest to a client to try. Let me explain. Therapy is a rather long process in which people get to know themselves and understand their problems step by step. I am not against them, they can be very useful. However, my goal is for a person to understand where his main problem lies and to give him / her the tools in order to solve this problem as soon as possible. So, 3-5 meetings and you will not only look at many things differently, but also behave differently. It may even be difficult to return to the old way of thinking.  The second reason why my counseling is not therapy is the way I communicate. I give a person time to talk, but at the same time I talk a lot myself. In my consultations, communication takes place, which sometimes turns into a stormy expression of opinions, an outpouring of feelings - everything is fine. There is no boss or guru in my consultations. However, this does not mean that you will leave my office feeling that we were just talking. Each time you will take something away - you will receive the necessary psychological knowledge and/or some technique that you can try immediately. And here we come to the third point - methods (see the "Methods" section).

In my consultations, I do not follow one psychotherapeutic direction. In my opinion, each can be very useful. So why not use them? I am a huge fan of Frankl and his logotherapy, so together with Frankl we will search for the meaning of life. We will not forget Adler because he can help us understand the influence of birth order in the family. Freud will help us understand whether we are stuck in any of the five stages of development and will not let us forget important dreams. Berne and his theory of transactional analysis will allow us to examine interpersonal relationships and reveal the "games that people play". Erikson's 8 stages of development will help you understand whether we are making mistakes while raising children... If you are a person who believes in God, we will definitely use faith in counseling, and if you are a non-believer, the topic of faith will not be touched upon. And the practice of gratitude, regardless of a person's faith, is useful for everyone. Well, and of course – cognitive behavioral therapy, it will help us understand our destructive thoughts and show us what to do so that these thoughts no longer spoil the quality of our life. Am I burdening my client with all this knowledge? No, I only give him/her what I think he or she needs to solve his own particular problem. The most important thing is that a person wants to change something in his thinking and behavior with himself and with others. So if you are ready for a change, I am at your service. :)
